Shawarma House

Shawarma House is easily one of the best middle eastern dining experiences I’ve had in Milwaukee!! Today especially it’s been a different experience in more better ways than I can explain. Since it’s the holy month of Ramadan they have partnered up with Melrose to have an open buffet during this beautiful month and what they had to offer was a meal fit for a King. From stuffed lamb, to grape leaves, mansaf, samosas, too many salads to list, hummus, baba ghanouj, shawarma of course, fresh fish and shrimp, Maklouba, and much much more. So many different drinks and sweets as well. I do highly recommend it and recommend trying everything as this is an opportunity to refresh your palate to new tastes. Unfortunately I don’t have much pictures to share due to the high volume of people and trying to get a seat but believe me when I say come on down and try them while you can.

This was my first time trying this meal, and it did not disappoint. It’s a new item on their menu called Bashka, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly baked and soft on the inside with a light crisp on the outside and topped with sesame seeds. The filling was rich and flavorful, with tender chicken, melted cheese, corn, olives, and well-seasoned vegetables. I felt like it was a perfect mix of Arab and Mexican flavors, creating something unique . Fresh, cheesy, and very satisfying, would definitely order it again.

The food was delicious. The All In Grill plate is a large serving but I couldn't stop eating. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

Places is clean, food is amazing. It was my first time at this restaurant never having tried any Middle Eastern cuisine and I might say that my expectations were met and then some. I will definitely come back! My friend and I even got free pastries as guests! Awesome!

The best falafel I’ve ever had! And their spicy chicken is cooked and seasoned perfectly, not to mention how great the workers are! We were having trouble deciding what to try and they gave us a plate of different meats and sauces to help us decide.

This is my second time coming here! The food is so fresh and taste very good and the man who rung us up was very nice and patient with us. I will be back for more

we recently moved to Brookfield approximately a year ago and since then Shawarma House has been a comforting regular spot for us. the first day of house-hunting had been stressful, and we really needed a spot to hunker down. coming to shawarma house was just what we needed. shawarma house is beyond satisfying and serves great portion sizes. if you need a bit of flavor, alongside a nice relaxing and rewarding meal after a hard day, shawarma house is the place to go! for the food quality, the ONLY complaint I would have is that occasionally the meat is a little dry, but that’s honestly personal preference. as for the service, it’s very quaint and hospitable. every so often we come up with a new way to add more to our meal (generally a combination of various sauces) and the cashier is always very nice + willing to help us out! nothing to complain about, food is great, vibe is great. great restaurant overall.

Amazing customer service, got a free box of sweets. Very kind people and the food itself was very rich in flavor and so delicious. I would recommend the overdose shawarma. Overall 10/10 experience!
